I am working on the Alabama Baby made from Deanna Hogan's pattern and face mold. So far I love this pattern, it is very easy to follow. I like all of the pictures included, so it is a step by step process. That is helpful to me as I have never used a face mold before. This picture is the cloth body and molded head and back of head. They have been glued on and are drying. Once dry, I will start adding paperclay to fill in the gaps and finish the head.
Here is a wonderful tutorial from Deanna that shows how the entire process works.

Ebay doll auction!
I have a new doll for sale on ebay! Her name is Julia, and here she is with her little punch-needle cat named Ginger.
I really had so much fun making her! Her head and shoulder plate are hand sculpted out of paper clay. Her body is all cloth, with painted arms and legs.
She is all my original design. It has been so long since I have made a doll, I really enjoyed it again!
Click here to go visit her auction, where there is a full description of her and more pictures!

Some Ebay wanderings...
I like this leprechaun:
Hootnhollar leprechaun
Lovely set of early looking black dolls inspired by Izannah Walker:
Girl
Boy
I hope they sell to the same bidder-it seems a shame to seperate them!
This angel is super pretty, and I like the way she seems to suggest movement. Very nicely done:
Flying Angel
Here is another pretty doll from Back in the Day, an ice princess. I love the bottle brush wreath!
Ice princess
Oh heavens! I love this briar rabbit from Veenas Mercantile! A prototype designed for Bethany Lowe! You go Veena! He looks so cute perched on his box! How did she do it?
