Jane Austen charts

I really like a lot of the Jane Austen charts that are out on the market these days. I would love to have a JA wall, and I would leave all of them to my oldest daughter, because she loves Jane Austen too!
These are all by The Stitching Parlor. I really love the Netherfield Ball one, and will probably stitch that first. I think these are beautiful and would look great interspersed with the simpler designs by The Sampler Girl. Oh what a wall it would be!

Houses

Well, I had hoped to get more done, but my hubby wanted to watch "The Passion of the Christ" last night, and I found that I could NOT stitch during that movie. What a great movie though, and gets me in the right frame of mind to begin Holy Week next week~my favorite time of year! Better than Christmas! I am on the Right of Christian Initiation(RCIA) team at my parish, which means we prepare people to come into the catholic church. I am so grateful to be on the team, I have learned more this year than I ever would have guessed. It is so exciting to see people so enthusiastic about the faith, and wanting to learn. It has been a really rewarding experience for me.
Anyhow, here is my progress on HOHRH. I don't know when I will get to work on it again, I have a LOT of stitching and printing to do this week. I am hoping to get my new designs ready for the Online Needlework show, and the deadline in on Easter!!

Houses

Today is Sunday, and in observance of the Lord's day, I don't do any model stitching or work related to my business at all. So...I get to work on Hawk Run Hollow all day! Yippee! This is my starting point, and I will take a pic tomorrow morning to show how much I've completed. Hopefully it will be a lot, if I can keep the family distractions to a minimum!

A small Finish!

I have so many BAP's going, and model stitching which is more like work, so I just wanted to do a little quickie to bring back the joy of stitching!! I feel great, something accomplished, you know! Its small but SO cute! This is a freebie from The Workbasket. I will make it into a pin cushion.

A little more on Houses

I am really enjoying working on this! I wish I had more time to do so. I have 2 new designs coming out in April, hopefully in time for the Online Needlework Show. One is complete and just needs the rest of the charting done, and the other I am still stitching~yikes! It has a hemstitch border, and I haven't even gotten to that point yet! But its hard because as some other bloggers put it, I am "jonesing" for Hohrh! I just want this one finished and on my wall right now!!(can you hear the whine!) hehe!

My kids are home on spring break this week, which is really nice on the one hand, they sleep in! Also they are getting older and I know how much I'm going to miss them when they all go their separate ways. So I try to spend as much time with them as possible while still getting all of my work done. So far we have had all cold and wet weather. So much for getting out and doing some yard work this week!

A little progress

I had a little time between model stitching this week to work on my Golden Age Sampler. I need to really tackle the middle flower now.

My progress on the new Hawk Run Hollow!

I actually started this a few days ago when I got my new piece of linen. It is on 32ct. Sand Belfast with 2 threads of AVAS. I'm sure I will run out of AVAS but I will just have to replenish as needed. I am very happy with the coverage now.

$5.00 Doll Pattern Sale on Etsy! Plus a bonus!

I am having a pattern sale on Etsy for my doll patterns-just $5.00 each while supplies last. And if you buy 3 or more patterns you get a free set of 10 vintage white buttons for your dollmaking. These buttons are very old and grungy-perfect for primitive dolls! They are a mix of steel, plastic, shank, bone, and mother of pearl. All of them are guaranteed old!
The button sets are also sold separately on my website.

Yes, I'm a serial starter!

And the only thing I ever really seem to finish are my pattern models. *sigh*! But it is fun!! And someday...
Here is my latest start. It is a Colonial Tea Cozy from an old issue of Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly.(Vol. 16 to be exact)Isn't it cute? I really want to finish this one because it will look so cute on my teapot, sitting on my china cabinet, don't you think?

And to answer Barbara's question about the fiber and fabric for my little Heart Biscornu I showed in my last post, the fabric is 32ct. Country French linen, and the fiber is from Vickie Clayton, and it is called Black Cherry.
