Just came across your post, this was so refreshing to read. We are Roman Catholics who follow the traditions of our Holy Church. We were told along time ago that we do not celebrate Christmas until Christmas Day when the Christmas Season starts, with Fast and Abstinence on Christmas Eve, but unfortunately the world and many Catholics included start earlier and earlier as the years are passing and finish on St. Stephens Day (Boxing Day) or a short time after. The real question here is how does Almighty God view/judge all this especially with all the festivity but with no thought of His saving Grace. Advent is Advent just as Lent is Lent!! God bless you!
