Some 40 count
is so tightly woven it feels like 60 count! I am dying of frustration here! I am using 4X magnifiers on this sucker and it is so s-l-o-w going!

I've had the same problem with some 40 count - specifically some 40 ct Nutmeg I'm doing Marquoir de Justine on. It's frustrating, but the fabric is so pretty!

Annie, I love the sneak peak and can't wait to see the Colonial Garden picture.
I did a few things on hardanger years ago and will never use that kind of fabric again. No, I stick to 32 and 28 counts and maybe 30 count linens.
What a neat design! Can't wait to see more.
