is so tightly woven it feels like 60 count! I am dying of frustration here! I am using 4X magnifiers on this sucker and it is so s-l-o-w going!
But anyhow, I'll stop griping long enough to say, this is a sneak peek at my new design! It is called Highways and Hedges. I also just got back my framed piece for Colonial Garden, so THAT will be released in about a week or so! Whoo~hoo!(pictures to follow soon!)

I've had the same problem with some 40 count - specifically some 40 ct Nutmeg I'm doing Marquoir de Justine on. It's frustrating, but the fabric is so pretty!
ohhh! this looks super nice.
I like the name of it too.
40ct Ale is killing me,lol
Oooh, it looks lovely! Can not wait to see it all!!!
Please stop by my blog and see the July 17th post as there is something there for you!!

Love what I see so far on this, Annie! LOVE the tulip over the house and thebunnies!
So does the fact that you're going to order the Sail Away pattern mean you're joining in our SAL - I hope so! it'll be fun!
Oh how pretty is that?!
I finished a "Cottage Sweet Cottage" peice for a customer a couple of weeks ago and it's on my finishing blog under "wall hangings" you ought to go sneak a peek...it turned out GORGEOUS! (if I do say so myself)
;o)
How beautiful, and I love the name too. I can't believe that you are working on 40 count, you are by far more patient than I am. I look forward to seeing the rest of it.
Oh, it's gorgeous! Mind if I ask the source of the linen? I like 40 count, but I do my best to avoid going blind, LOL.
Annie, I love the sneak peak and can't wait to see the Colonial Garden picture.
I did a few things on hardanger years ago and will never use that kind of fabric again. No, I stick to 32 and 28 counts and maybe 30 count linens.
What a neat design! Can't wait to see more.
