Learning new tricks

These little guys represent about a weeks worth of work, developing a new pattern and learning the art of teddy bear making. I know they are bunnies, but the techniques are the same. The little brown one has been somewhat aged with tea dye, and the yellow one has only pins for eyes right now, as I am waiting for the German glass eyes that I ordered. They are both made of German mohair with cotter and pin joints. I hope to have something ready for ebay soon. Both of these little guys are experimental, so they will have a permanent home with me. Fun!

Hmmm, I previously tried to post and got an error so forgive me if I post a second similar msg. (oops)
I just wanted to say that we must be in the same frame of mind cuz I just posted my little bunny rabbit on my blog today too! Yours are sweet, how big are they? Mine's a wee one...I seem to like them the best. Good luck with your animal creating, it can be very addictive :)
Hugs,
