Country Cottage Needleworks

Here is the ornament I did from the JCS magazine ornament issue. I am keeping it out on my dowel tree. I hope to fill this little tree up with other cute country smalls as a yearlong project.

Progress...

Here is my Home of a Needleworker WIP. This is a pleasure to stitch! I am working it on 32 ct overdyed Zweigart linen using 1 strand of DMC over 2. This is a Little House Needleworks design-love everything she does!! AND, I have just discovered the works of her daughter, Country Cottage Needleworks, which are a little more shabby chic in design, I love them!! I did an ornament from this designer and I love it so much I'm keeping it out all year!

Finished first block of Days of Advent!

It took me a long time to finish this one because froggy came to town-several times!! But despite many annoying color changes in the bottom grassy part I finally finished this one. Now only 23 more blocks to go!!

Sweet Kitty Angel

Well, starting tomorrow the holidays are over for me, anmd its back to work! I am really feeling inspired and I'm ready to try some new things. I am going to be taking a needle felting class in February, and I have been playing around with punchneedle throughout the holiday break! I managed to get a new doll done, and have her for sale at Simply Primitives .
I love the way she turned out!

2.make progress on Ann Greanawalt
3.do finishing on Country House ornament
4. decide on Christmas day start and start it!
5.finish block 2 of HOHRH

Poor MOTM is going to the back of the list again, in favor of the Days of Advent sampler I will be starting on New Years Day. I am really making progress on Isabel's stocking, I'm into the boot part now. This is my biggest priority, as my little daughter does not think I will finish it, and even tried to get me to buy her a stocking at Target!(gasp!) hehe! I WILL get it done!!

In the middle of all my goals, my stitching chair has been moved and rearranged twice as we try to fit in a bigger tree, and now my teenage boys are getting so big my house is seeming smaller and smaller. After moving some pieces of furniture I took a good look at my living room walls and realized I MUST paint! Can you imagine, at this time of year? But I'm commited now and must get it done this weekend! So now its time to get off the computer and get to work!
LOL!

Isabel's stocking

I really must put everything else aside and finish this one-I need to get it done as soon as possible. It is hard for me to work on because it is not really my style. Bel really loves this, and what little 7 yr old girl wouldn't! So I have to finish it for this year! Its more than halfway done.
