Inspired by Izannah Walker

I know it seems every one is making this type of doll, but I couldn't resist trying my hand at it! This is actually a mold for an Alabama Baby doll by Deanna Hogan. I just decided to turn her into an Izzy instead. I got some fabric yesterday for her dress, which HAS to be red! I will be working on dress and unders today.

These pictures are before her head and shoulderplate have had a crackle applied.

I can hardly wait to see the finished doll. I haven't made a doll for a long time. But I always enjoyed it, I think that it is a good way to play with dolls when you are all growed up.

Oh my gosh thanks Jan! I love bluegrass, or what they now call American roots music! Went to see Alison Krause and Union station last fall-what a great show! Glad to know I'm not the only one out there who loves this music!
