Some Christmas sewing

I am making this for my brother Gil.
He LOVES Christmas and begins decorating BEFORE Thanksgiving.
This is going to be a pillow.
It is rectangular.

It is from a pattern by Bareroots.
I just love Bareroots patterns, don't you?
Hopefully I will have time to snap a picture when it is done and before I give it to him. He always hosts our family get together on Christmas eve. He is a fabulous cook, and we get fed something wonderful every year.
I tell ya, I am the most spoiled little sister in the WORLD!
My brother Gil always cooks on Christmas eve, and my brother Edward (thats Fr. Edward to you, cuz he's a priest) always cooks on Thanksgiving and Christmas day.
Can you BELIEVE that?
I NEVER have to do the cookin'!
BELIEVE ME!
 I am THANKFUL!!!

xx

I'm a Bareroots fan, too, Annie. And your pillow-in-the-making is wonderful. Your brother is going to love it.

Bareroots has the sweetest patterns. I'm sure your brother will love it. I think it's great that both brothers cook. My son cooks very well ... out of self-defense. I'd love to have someone cook for me all the time!

Awww, I don't know what I'm more jealous over--that you get to be with your brothers or that you don't have to do the cooking. I guess both, since if I was close enough to my brother Tim, he'd be cooking. Give your brothers an extra hug at Christmas for a sister who wishes she could hug her three brothers. ;)

Your Bareroots piece is GORGEOUS--your brother will love it!

I have loved Bareroots for years! I first saw her when she was vending at a show in Arizona, and we had such a lovely chat. This is a wonderful design and I'm hoping you post the finish.
