Here is Julia awaiting some clothes. I have decided to try
Gail Wilson's paint overdye method to tone down the brightness of the fabrics I want to use for her costume, so I am at sort of a stand still until I can pick up some paint in the colors I need. I also still need to design the pantaloons for her. I am hoping to make Julia a standard "type" so that I can use her basic body for several different dolls that I want to do.

She is so beautiful, I can see how you could make her up lots of different ways. Great idea!
I'm glad to see Julia has a name and a body! She's beautiful, even if she took a baseball in the nose once upon a time (like my hubby). Now that you're making dolls again, I better get some money!
Hugs,
Nina
She is lovely!!! I am just starting to try my hand at various doll making crafts...self teaching which is not always the best way! Must get some books...can you recommend any good ones?...particularly for this type of vintage clay doll! THANKS!
