An oil painted doll

As I said, my background is not in watercolors. My background is in oils. I came across a box of unfinished oil painted dolls in the basement the other day. For the first time in ages I felt like working on a doll! I decided to see what I could make of one of the unfinished dolls I found. Here she is:
This first picture is from yesterday.

And here she is after a little more work today.

What do you think?

Hi Annie, love her beautiful face. I once painted landscapes with oil paints, but now have learned how to use acrylics. I don't think I could go back to oil b/c it takes so long to dry & cure. I did enjoy my grandson's but they are alot of work. I would love another grandchild, maybe my son & daughter in law will give us one in the next couple of years. But grandkids are great!!! Hiya Annie!

I'm so pleased that you're feeling inspired again! Love the little girl and desperately want one of your dolls (but drat that I'm waiting on clients for money to start coming in again!) Don't sell them all, please!

In the meantime, I'm giving you the "You Make My Day" award. You inspire me! To collect your award, go to my blog at http://ninamasondolls.blogspot.com.
