It appears the ebay selling season has begun so I thought I better start working on my best Fall/Halloween ideas. Here is my first one, a costume party in the pumpkin patch! I'm very pleased with her, and Toto too! She is very large, 28" tall. I have adapted her from my Jubal Davis pattern. Click on the ebay link to see more pictures of her, especially her shapely gams!

Hi Annie,
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my doll. The reason for not being able to use my pencils was partly I think because I hadn't used the acrylics for a while and the colour had seperated from the medium in it. I tried shaking the bottle but still there was too much of medium floating which appears like oil. Perhaps it is oil I don't know so when it dried it became hard as though I had painted the doll with oil.
Your dolls are very beautiful. I love Toto especially. She is adorable. Is her head from pumkin or is it paper clay?
Hello Annie,
Thank you so much for your lovely comments in my blog. I tried to post earlier but the blogger wouldn't let me. So I am trying again. The reason I couldn't use my pencils on the acrylics may have been due to the fact that my colours were pretty old and had seperated from the medium. I tried mixing them but they still looked oily when painted on and when they dried the surface became hard like oil paint. Oh well I finally got over the problem only thing is I haven't sprayed the surface with fixer as I am afraid the gel pens might run if I do that. I will try and see if a coat of modpodge will help.
