Fairy Flora update

I worked on Fairy Flora last night and got some more of the side leaves done. I can't believe how addicting it is! The top picture is my messy studio. Elinor is my latest folk doll. She is getting ready to go to her new home this week as her auction closes on Ebay tonight.

Fairy Flora

Look what Nicole started!!
After viewing her progress on Queen Anne's Lace, I started looking at Lavender and Lace designs, Mirabilia, and one I've never heard of before Passione Ricomo. I actually ordered a new Mirabilia design called Shimmering Mermaid to stitch for my DD Chelsea-who loves mermaids and fantasy designs.
Then I went into the WIP archives and pulled out Fairy Flora yesterday. I actually located the threads and beads much to my surprise! I started this design probably around 1996! I had a great time working on it yesterday. Isabel went crazy when she saw it! She had never seen this kind of stitching before. She said," Mom this is the best stitching you've ever done!" I started this design before she was even born! Ha! HA!' Hope I can finish it before she goes to college!!

Watermelon needle book

I stitched this for my secret stitcher in my local EGA guild. I love how it turned out. I stitched her initials on the back.

What season are you?

I saw this on another blog so I had to do it myself! wink!

You Belong in Spring

Optimistic, lively, and almost always happy with the world...

You can truly appreciate the blooming nature of spring.

Whether you're planting flowers or dyeing Easter eggs, spring is definitely your season!

I love this new LHN!

This is a must have for me! My boys and I are great fans of these old ships-they are so cool! We love everything from that era-Pirates, Master and Commander, Horatio Hornblower, all the British Royal Navy stuff!
Not much stitching to show right now as I am mostly working on models for my upcoming first releases, and some exchange pieces.

Etsy

I have opened an Etsy shop! I'm kind of excited about it! If you want to see what I have listed click here. It is VERY simple to sign up if you don't already belong, and then you can BUY!! hehe! I am tempted by lots of other handmade items I have seen there. The cost is so much lower than ebay. I hope I can eventually give up ebay altogether-its getting ridiculous! Wish me luck on ETSY!

A Place We Call Home

Here is my progress on this piece. I hope to finish it this week in between model stitching. I started out with less than a full skein of cidermill brown, and then I ran out. So I had to wait until I got some more. I really love the way this is turning out-its so pretty!
