I spent the day with my mother yesterday making homemade applesauce! Gotta "preserve" those old traditions! Ha! Ha! We had SO much fun! Next week we are canning pears!
That reminds me of the good ole days. My mom had a huge garden and we used to pick real wild rasberries in our woods and boy I remember spending weeks canning things. It has been over 25 years since I have done that. I would love to do that again, someday!
