New inspiration and great news!

I just got back from vacation and I am feeling really inspired. I am ready to create again! And as luck would have it, I was contacted by Soft Dolls and Animals magazine, and asked to do a pattern for them. I am going to do a variation of my Snow Queen doll for the December issue! I am very excited about this!!

Here are a few pictures from my vacation. I am always inspired by architecture, I just love it. And Charleston SC is loaded with such beauty!
This last one is from Annapolis,MD. right outside the Naval Academy.

Dollmaking Blogs!

It's good to see so many of my dollmaking friends are beginning to blog. Wait until they all find out how addicting it can be ! Har! Har! I will be adding a lot of blogs to my sidebar in the next couple of days. But in the meantime I wanted to highlight some of them. So here are a few good blogs:

A finish for June!

I finished this during the long car rides on vacation. I really love those luscious silks from Crescent Colors. I am eagerly looking forward to doing the Summer sampler now!

Dance Recital 2007

Doesn't my baby look cute! She is quite the little dancer, sunburned shoulders and all!

Just to make darn sure life doesn't get too boring, Isabel has dance pictures, dress rehearsal and her dance recital all this week, Lucas has soccer conditioning at 7:30 in the morning and started his new full time job, and Aidan has basketbal camp and weight lifting. Oh yeah, was I going to stitch something? Ha! Ha!

I am back and feeling refreshed!!

Beautiful Isle of Palms, South Carolina! This is where we stayed, right on my beloved ocean! Wow! I loved it!

Some gorgeous Charleston architecture!

My beautiful girls shopping in Charleston. We discovered many secret gardens like this one they are standing in front of, hidden by beautiful wrought iron gates. Wow! Charleston just has so much charm! I really loved it! p.s.~can you see little Isabel grimacing from the horrible sunburn she got at the beach! Poor thing!
